Data Dashboard Redesign
Transforming a cluttered analytics dashboard into a scannable, insight-driven interface for enterprise users.

Problem
Problem
Enterprise users were drowning in data. The existing dashboard presented dozens of metrics in a flat, undifferentiated grid, making it nearly impossible to identify trends or take action. Users reported spending significant time each morning just trying to understand what mattered.
Approach
Approach
I worked closely with data analysts and power users to understand their mental models and decision-making processes. We introduced a clear visual hierarchy, grouping related metrics into themed cards with contextual drill-downs. I designed a customizable layout system that let users pin their most important metrics to the top, and added intelligent alerts for anomalies.

Outcome
Outcome
Post-launch surveys showed that users could now identify key insights quickly. The average time spent on the dashboard dropped, while user engagement with deeper analytics features increased. The redesign was featured in a case study by the company's largest enterprise client.
